Description
Barebones Hori Hori Classic & Sheath Multifunctional Garden Knife.
First implemented in Japan, the Hori Hori Classic digging tool was originally used for the careful and methodical excavation of plants, such as Sansai, in the mountains. Barebones' unique take on this classic tool was designed for gardening work. Its rounded top and serrated sides make it ideal for collecting, digging and pulling weeds. Equipped with a heat-tempered hollow blade, full stainless steel tang, and comfortable walnut handle, the Barebones Hori Hori Classic is the diverse garden tool you can use for a lifetime. The intentionally added string cutter doubles as a bottle opener, so you can enjoy your choice of refreshing beverage after a hard day at work.
The Hori Hori Classic sheath combines utility and design. Made from 900D polyester with an interior liner, it stands up to real-world use while protecting the blade from dulling. The stainless steel belt clip makes carrying and accessibility easier, while the strong handle strap prevents the blade from slipping or moving. The open end allows for easy cleaning and prevents dirt buildup, preserving the blade for years of continuous use.

Blade: • Apply a thin layer of protective oil after each use. Wipe off dirt, water and fingerprints regularly. Use a fine file to straighten larger dents or nicks in the blade. The edge can be sharpened with a disc or medium-sized whetstone.
Sheath: • Oilcloth should never be dry cleaned or machine washed. It can be cleaned carefully by hand. Brush off the dirt, rinse the surface with cold water, scrub gently with a brush, then let air dry. If stains persist, use mild soap or saddle soap.
After cleaning, the oilcloth may need to be waxed again. To do this, use a wax conditioner and apply following the manufacturer's instructions.
